CAP is, above all, a pro-Canadian party dedicated to the principle that Canada can best serve its citizens and the world by re-claiming and maintaining its political and economic sovereignty as an independent country.

It is opposed to the ascendancy of "corporate rule" and those aspects of unrestricted global investment that promote colonization of the world’s smaller powers and in Canada’s case its absorption by the United States of America.

Public Service Announcement - Rock the Vote

In the 1988 General Election, 75% of eligible voters participated. The 2011 General Election had only just over 61% of eligible voters participate. If you are not participating in your democracy, you are spectating or speculating it. CAP has seen the dilution of our sovereignty and our democracy continue through the lack of participation by eligible voters. People have given up on the system, they are discouraged and they feel there is no use to voting. This public service announcement for Rock the Vote is important to try to empower our youth of today to actively participate in their democracy. They are the ones that will be left the debt, problems and issues of today. We must work the future, Today is Yesterday's Tomorrow!
